I have been picking through the forum for some time now as I have relaunched myself back into 40k. I finally got around to registering. I have been playing 40K for about 18 years since second edition, which I miss terribly for my vortex grenades and modifiable armor saves.
I have the entire second company of Blood Angels (The Blooded), minus the 3rd dread. I dont have any of those new fancy pants golden boy blood angels.
I have a ton of termies which i havent used since 2nd edition days and I don't really want to buy landraiders to make them viable.
My new love is my Imperial Guard army that i have been working on since 4 edition but never fielded. I have about 2500 pts of foot slogging guard with 3 Leman Russ variants and 1 veteran squad in a chimera.
Seeing all the miniatures on this site has been a real inspiration to my hobbying which was first and foremost always my first love with 40k, painting and modeling the figures.
Reading all the tactical advise on IG helped me build my army list to be competitive without being a meta gaming asshat.
I will post pictures soon of my armies with are all in varying degrees of being finished since I started recently by repainting miniatures that I had finished 15 years ago. But here are some old school ratlings that I did up one evening for fun.
