Hey there, me and my friends are getting confused with when I shoot with my leman russ battle tank.
Before i roll the scatter dice with a large template, do i need to roll to hit? With a BS of 3 I would need to roll a 4 without even attempting to roll the scatter dice with some luck, or does the template hit automatically without rolling dice for a BS skill, hitting by just rolling the scatter dice?
I know it's a noobish question but I want to make sure we are playing it properly, many thanks

No, you subtract your BS from the total of the 2 dice in the scatter roll.

In your squads, doing the chainsword tango

1) read the bloody rulebook. It has an index, come on
2) This is the tactics forum, not the rules question forum
3) read number 1) again.

I am not sure. How about going to a GW store and playing some AoBR? Then fire a frag missile at some orks and see how the rules work. Unfortunately I am busy today, maybe someone could do this for us and saves us the effort of going into town.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
