Well today, i was at a dance class, and was thinking about space wolves. i really enjoy space wolves, and my ultimate aim is to collect a whole chapter. i am no where close, but i was wondering about the Priestly orders of the Vlyka Fenryka. How are they represented? My brain was working furiosly, and i decided that an all- Rune Priest army (about 1500 points) would be an exciting and fun opprotunity to practice an new color scheme and improve my modeling skills. I was looking of the Wolf Codex, and realized that their arent alot of options for psykers outside of the rune priest themselves. i really want to field a Psker Dreadnought, so i was wondering if anyone would object to using a blood angels codex and rules list, but converting and repainting the models to apear as space wolf rune priest and acolytes, plus some specially selected space wolf bodyguards?

p.s. i also would like to do a wolf priest army, does anyone have any tips on which codex i should use?

well it would be legal, but I think it would be overly confusing.

I mean its fine if you want to paint your space wolves or blood angels a different color, to represent a DIY chapter kind of thing.

However painting an army up to match one codex and then using it to represent another would just confuse people.

Paint them how you want, there are no rules saying that every army that uses the Blood Angel Codex have red armor.

In fact the Lamenters (BA Successor) do not have red armor.

You can do it, just make sure you are very clear to your opponents that it is a blood angels army painted to look like space wolves. You also may want to clear it with an TO before a tournament so they know whats going on as well.

Blood for the bloo... wait no, I meant for Sanguinius!
