Now, this platoon consists of a great variety of different units combined into 1 troop choice. I understand that they deploy together, but how do they operate as scoring. do all the different types of units in this Troop choice count as scoring on their own?

They are all Troops Units so will ALL score, apart from any Chimera as despite being troops vehicles they are still vehicles.
