I can't seem to find a source for the model though.

Clearly, these resin models look to be made by a high quality company or sculptor.

It looks more like a normal terminator with a lot of custom sculpting work done. Doesn't look a lot like any of Scibor's stuff (which is probably why I like it so much!)

Was the seller Russian? I'm perfectly serious, a lot of Russian sellers can sell complete recasts of GW stuff with no fear. I'm still going with custom sculpting on a normal terminator then recast a few dozen times for profit.

Indeed Russian. That theory sounds very plausible.

Not resin at all. The photos are simple taken in black and white to give a better idea of the painted model, as to not overwhelm the senses as it were with green stuff.

The seller indicated:

A complete multi-part resin model (8 parts)

I'm curious to see if it actually arrives in the mail and just what I ordered.

at first I was thinking it was a Lysander base, but it's been reposed and sculpted over so much it's hard to tell.

It might be a recast of someone's conversion, but that someone might be the seller himself.

It's certainly not a model that GW sells, maybe (heresy of heresies!) there's a russian ebayer who's legit?

Recast or not. It looks amazing. If the details are all there in the one you receive, I think it will be a great addition to the Deathwing list you have been thinking of.
