Right, for a start At 1500 2 librarians and an honor guard squad is too expensive. You need more scoring and support. A simple and effective build is 4 full ASM squads with 3 DEV squads with 4 Missile launchers in each. But if you want you keep your priests you can settle for 2 Dev squads.

What i would do is drop the honor guard, 1 librarian and the VV squad which will free you up 520pts.

Then i'd add in 1 more full ASM squad and 2 Dev squads with 4 missile launchers each.

Honestly I'd drop one Librarian and the Honor Guard and take another full Assault Marine squad. That's plenty of scoring units and anti-tank since you are doing DoA (I'm assuming). You can drop into Melta range and even better, combat squad onto the table so you can take on multiple vehicles at once if you need to.

It would put you at 1410-1500, so you could take a third Priest and give all the Priests Power Weapons for extra fun.

49 marines with Furious Charge and FNP landing on your doorstep at 1500 points is a scary thought.

I agree, drop the extra libby and the HG.

I like the VV so I personally would keep them, the Dev's are nice but if you want a 'pure' DoA list then I wouldn't take them. I would put in another assault squad with a PW and flamers to deal with Horde. Give the vets a PF (or two) so they can take care of any mech right when they drop

Actually I like the list. Much love

30 guys is enough scoring troops. Then you buy cool stuff with jump packs i.e. honour guard and vanguard. The second librarian is a little ott but whatever.

Personally I would put a fist in the vanguard just in case you need them to tackle mech.
Honour guard with plasma guns could be good to deal with things you do not want to assault.
Then switch one assault squad to double flamer and powerweapon, maybe with meltabombs to deal with infantry.

DoA lists are a little hard to handle, I find, but are more than capable of destroying armies so have fun
