Is this a competative terminator list? All I could fit inside it was three troop choices and three things of long fangs. It seems a bit empty but I dont want Grey hunters. I just want all Terminators if possible or is it not possible for space wolves to have a really good list with nothing but them in it?

Heavy: Three Teams of Five Long Fangs with the following.

I got five points left over and I think I will just give one guy a melta bomb to get rid of the points or maybe just because I roll super low
I have friends whom have tons of terminators from black reach I am gonna borrow to make this list and than play a buddy but I wanna know if I can improve on it before I actually play this list.

Well I love the idea here, I would recommend that you find the points to add a cyclone missile launcher to your squads that are foot slogging. Which irrc will only mean you need to find 60 points, which should easily be able to happen, if you make your lascannon grey hunters missile launchers in two of your teams.

The list isn't legal for one. Only one Wolf Guard unit is allowed a Land Raider. So you'd have to drop Long Fangs to take the other 2 Land Raiders.

For two, you do not have enough bodies on the table for 2500 points. You have a grand total of 15 troops and 34 models in your whole army.

Your troops have no means to fire at the enemy so are pure close combat, but you have no real anti-infantry capability at range.

All Storm Shields is cute, but a waste of points. Dedicated assault units will be able to do a lot of damage to you if you don't get the charge, just from weight of numbers. Worse, all the enemy shooting will be able to focus fire since you have a total of 10 units. Even better (for the enemy), your units have only 3 types of wargear so as you allocate wounds you roll the dice for the 3 with Storm Shield and Wolf Claw, so wound allocation can hurt your rather overpriced unit.

So, no. This list is no where near competitive. Will you win games with it? Sometimes, but probably not often.

You can do all Space Wolf Terminators if you want, but technically speaking the real strength of Loganwing is with mixed armor. Taking Terminator armor just on the guys with CML and leaving the rest in Power Armor. If you really want to do 100% terminators I would do something more like this:



It's silly and suffers from the same problem of only having a handful of the troops most will bring to 2500 points, but hey 4 Land Raiders and all Terminators.


Alternatively, if you wanted a foot list:



49 Terminators and 18 Missile Launchers (and able to fire at 6 targets a turn). You should be able to suppress fire, and with Logan you get Tank Hunters on a unit for more fun. Njal has other fun, including providing you mobile cover if needed. Everyone has Power Weapons or better so assaults will be gnarly. No Storm Shields except on the Lone Wolves but I don't see that as a problem personally. If you feel it is, cut out some things.

I'd really re-think how you are going about it. All Terminator lists are kind of meh competitively (Draigowing can usually only draw) but there are ways to do it so you have a better chance.
