Commanding Orc Boss
|
Hey guys. I recently obtained my first Finecast models: A Necron Overlord and a Cryptek.
The Overlord had quite a lot of small holes, and a tiny missing part, but it was nothing I couldn't fix with a little Green Stuff.
The Cryptek on the other hand was flawless, save for one thing: his staff was somewhat bent, and it is quite easy to notice.
Is there a way to safely straighten it up again?
Thanks.

Awesome -I'll try this too. My Draigo came with a bent sword and I kept trying to "train" it back to straightness, don't know why I didn't think of adding some heat to it - I guess I considered the heat threshhold to be pretty high with finecast.

For swords as they are flat, I've been putting them in warm water and then setting a heavy book on them to make sure I get it straight. Its worked for the two FW Character Conversion packs I got where the swords were laughably bent out of shape.
