I think its kinda balanced with fast and heavy along with the blob squad in there to slow other armies troops down a bit.

There's an army list section, post it there.

Don't buy missiles for your vehicles. It's not really worth the points. Don't buy carapace armor for your company command unless you're feeling spendy and have bought them all plasma guns, in which case a medic is a better investment. Either make your CSS a stationary unit with that lascannon and a master of ordnance (fun, not exactly the most competitive thing in the world but fun) or run them with lots of plasma.

Infantry squads need special and heavy weapons. If you want to run a powerblob, just give them cheap grenade launchers, power weapons on sergeants, and a commissar with a power weapon. If you want to run a shooty platoon, give them autocannons and grenade launchers or something cheap and useful. Also, if you're running a blob that big (as I'm assuming by the way they're written) you should get a commissar just to keep them together. Heavy weapon teams are fine, even if I'm not a fan of missile launchers in IG armies at all. Low BS, low volume of fire, and decent strength don't work all that often, which is why I find autocannons far more effective for standard IG to use.

Unless they're outflanking or infiltrating with Harker or whatever, never ever ever ever EVER run vets on foot. Expensive guys running around in 5+ armor are just begging to get killed. Give them the chimera from your platoon command squad, and get another chim at another time.

Scout sentinels could stand to be downgraded to autocannons. They're ideally going to come in on the sides of the table, and will be able to hit side armor fairly well with ACs instead of expensive lascannons. They're cheap, don't spend too many points on them. The Vendetta is a little out of place, but should be okay.

Are those Russes being run in a squad? If so, run the two standard LRBTs together and the demolisher separately. Their ranges are really disparate and if you're shooting a far away target you're wasting the demolisher, and if you're shooting a close target you're wasting the LRBT range. Also, the AP3 vs AP2 thing gives them different target priorities. Manticores are awesome too.

I hope that doesn't mean you have to change your army too much - I've given a lot of advice, but I've played a LOT of games with my IG so I hope my advice is valid. I'm by no stretch a tournament regular so I won't buff your list to WAAC levels or anything, but I hope I could help!

Thanks for the info there. Advice is always welcomed.

We have been running a lot of DOW lately so thats why I put the Chimeras with the command squads. Normally I would have the vets in them.
The CCS usually is stationary.
I was thinking the sentinals would do better AP with the lascannons than with autocannons because the people I go against usually have tanks or heavy armor on.
The infantry platoon, they usually dont need the extra inspiration of a commissar. I usually move them little by little to use the first/second rank command. That usually works pretty well until they get into CC.
The Vendetta has been doing pretty well killing tanks.
The Lemans, I was going to run them seperate, the 2 normal ones together, and the demolisher seperate.
I was going to try to keep the CCS back near the Manticore, with LOS on as much of the battlefield as possible for the MoOR.
I was also going to keep the AC teams near them also.

Thanks for the input there
Oh, I did post it in the lists section, but no one looked at it.

You can't depend on DoW deployment, it's only one third of the games you'll play! What do the guardsmen really accomplish? I Get they're okay anti infantry, purely by volume of fire, but you've got to give them something for extra firepower.

You don't need sentinels for busting heavy armor, that's what the vendetta and meltavets are for. The command squad really doesn't need carapace armor, since they'll likely be in cover anyway.
