My basic strategy is to drop 2 tac squads first turn, melta any tanks in sight and then deep strike the land speeders to burn and purge the area, while the land raider with the termies and vulkan in it runs up center field to get to the action as soon as possible. Thoughts?

I personally love this list. Very well rounded and has a clear purpose. What LR do you plan to field? Crusader or Redeemer?

It is bit all over the place.
You have a lot of units working by themselves which is a little risky. The pred is left behind, whilst the 'raider rushes forward, then the vindi and dread are half speed.
Podding infantry can be awesome or bad, usually my advice would be have some dread drop pods just in case infantry would be just eaten.

The problem i've found with dread drop pods is they only require one good shot to destroy, but a tac squad needs 10 good shots. I dunno. Would you switch the third tac in the drop pod for the dread and throw the tac in a rhino or something?

And as for the pred being in the back and vind and dread mid field, that's exactly what I want. I find most people I've played tend to ignore the pred for the more in your face threat of the LR and the 20 people in their face, allowing the pred to get some easy kills before they start to take notice. That being said, this strategy is heavily dependent on me going first, if I'm second then there's just not enough on the field for them to aim at and they can focus fire on my pred/vind.

If Grey Knights shunt to the objectives you're gonna have serious issues getting your troops in place if they cast Warp Quake.

I'd probably move the dread to a Drop Pod instead of a tac squad.
