So I just finished my mighty empires board, and modeled it after the few maps of the area I could find... Now I'm searching for fluff regarding it's inhabitants... What does dakka know?

Fantasy: 4000 - WoC, 1500 - VC, 1500 - Beastmen
40k: 2000 - White Scars
Hordes: 5/100 - Circle of Orboros

I think one of the old dog of war units came from there but can't really remember seeing them in much of the fluff beyond passing references to it as a place to people had visited without going into what was there.

The Empire book talks about crusades to liberate them from Araby and also there is a top notch fanbook made for them

Pirazzo's Lost Legion is one example of old Estalian units (Dogs of War).
It's no longer legal, in any official capacity, but hey

The dogs of war book is freely avaliable as a PDF I think, also ebay will probably have some old book for them too. That's the closest thing I can think of.
Oh yeah, Blackhearts books featured a character, who was either Tilean or Estalian, I believe he talks about his home on several occasions there.

Isn't there supposed to be a WFB book coming out soon with more information about Estalia and Tilea? I always was disappointed that these regions felt so neglected, with such a rich world, it would be nice to know more.

WFB armies: Wood elves, Bretonnia, Daemons of Chaos (Tzeentch), Dwarfs & Orcs 'n Goblins
40K armies: Black Legion, Necrons, & Craftworld Iyanden
