The assembly of my Warhound Titan has hit a snag: the weapon arms seems to be fiendishly hard to magnetize, due to the fact that the centre of gravity is much further forward than the ball joint. The magnets I use should be MORE than capable of holding the arms up and yet they fail, due to the arm tilting forward and breaking the contact of the magnets. Any tips on how to fix this?

For thirteen years I had a dog with fur the darkest black. For thirteen years he was my friend, oh how I want him back.

Possibly hollow out the weapons as much as possible.

Or double up magnets

Use a pin drilled into the ball joint to fix the weapon's vertical position and then dot the magnets around it. You lose the ability to tilt the arm up bit it should still pan horizontally and be swappable

could be a stupid idea but looking at the model, could it be possible to screw the weapon to the arm?

Would probably be alot more stronger than a magnet but may be alot more work

I'm with Charax - any time you're magnetizing bits that like to torque themselves off, use a combination of pins and magnets. The pin provides enough mechanical resistance to rotation to keep the magnets from losing contact and the magnets keep the parts from sliding off the pin.
