Quick post as I'm at a public iPad...
I want to start an ig army, but ideally want them to all have cadian respirator helmets. The best alternate I can find is on fw, Elysian respirator helmets... I know fw also do this for cadian, but that is £9 more, with uneccesary extra parts...
Anyone reccomemd any good sites for finding these parts cheap?

The Cadian Command squad has spare respirator parts for 5 guys build in. You can find some Bitz sites that might have some.

That's why you only play in friendly games or non- GW tournaments/stores, GW killed their business for me with Imperial Guard, I turned to other places.

At my store they told me the rule is only 50% has to be GW, and all of the IG players here have heavily converted armies. Of course, our store is really laid back so that might be why... Where you can find that rule at btw? I'd like to look at it so I know what I have to do in case I ever decide to make a competitive army.

It isn't an official rule...
It's more of a policy that is or isn't enforced at the store manager's discretion...
Though in theory you could claim you made them all yourself out of GW greenstuff and so they are 100% GW product...
