So Im going to play with orks+my friend(nids) against my two friends (Marines)+(necrons), My problem is that I havent played against necrons... So what would be good army for orks against necrons and marines, we play 1000p per player (4000p game) so I don't think he gots anything super scary on his necron army...expect I heard that he has C'Than shard of the deceiver. So i have about 100 boys, 2 warbosses (pk,banner, twinlinked gun), 9 deffkoptas, ENOUGH nobs (pk/big choppa), big mek (shokk attack gun), snikrot, 1 battle wagon and some burnas and shootas (about 5 each) so give me some advices please, thanks and sorry for my bad english

Orkses never lose a battle. If we win we win. If we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we come back for annuver go, see!

Get stuck in to cc asap! You'll outnumber him heavily from the off so as long as you don't get shot up too heavily first you should be in a pretty strong position. Tie up his big guns with your fast attack units and rough it up with your troops vs his

Yea, just bring lots of boyz. Unless the marines are tooled to do so, they are pretty bad against large numbers of guys. Necrons are better against large numbers, but because he relies on short ranged firepower, he will get in one, two at most salvos before your stuck in. Bring your 100 boyz + warbosses, have the nids back you up with a large number genestealers to run behind your boyz as a counter-charge unit.

The main thing that you have to worry about is if the Necron player tries to use a combo like C'Tan Shard w/ Writhing Worldscape combined with a lot of Tremorstaves.

C'Tan's ability "Writhing Worldscape" makes all difficult terrain count as dangerous terrain for the enemy. And Tremorstaves are blast weapons that make any enemy unit hit forced to count open ground as difficult terrain during their next movement phase (which will stack with the C'Tan ability, effectively making your units move in difficult terrain.) This will be ugly if you have 100 Boyz, as you can expect each unit to lose 1/6 of them every turn that the unit is hit with this.

The next thing you need to consider is the Doomsday Ark, because it has a range of 72" and fires a Str 9 AP 1 large blast; however it cannot do this on any turn that it moves.

That c'tan / tremorstave combo sounds nasty!

I've found it to be not half as good on the table as it sounds on paper, however the place where it really shines is against hordes.

You can also expect to see some Annihilation Barges. Their arc ability is nasty because of the sheer number of wounds it will pump out.

another thing to think about is which HQ the necron play will play with because imotekh wrecks horde armies with lighting strikes. The other possibility is Trazyn because his close combat weapon will decimate large groups of enemies if he kills.

Opinions are like donkey-caves, everyone has them and they all stink.

Necrons 7000+
Space Wolves 2500
Mechanicum: 3000
Space Marines: 3000

It is fortunate that the same weapons that deal with 3+ armor saves also tend to deal with av13 armor in a pinch.
They may well try to save themselves from horde combat through transport barriers.
I think this is one of those situations where a ghost ark's firepower may feel pretty meaningful.

You've been given some pretty good advice so far. I just assume your opponents will be packing a lot of dakka, and a couple pinpoint tricks or hammers to fight deathstars or MCs.

The c'tan is an incredibly expensive unit that usually dies when it has been wounded 8 times. With a six toughness that isn't really out of the realm of possibility, and if you aren't being aggressive with it, it's a massive points sink at midrange levels, but if there were a combination of enemies where writhing worldscape and tremorstaves were going to be potent, it's vs orcs and bugs.

Oh it'd also be smart to keep in mind a monolith is really not out of the question at av14 200 points and with an ordnance weapon that will rarely suppressed. Think about how you might want to deal with something that will just zip back any immortal squad your boys get too close to.

It's just a show, I should really just relax... It's just a show, I should really just relax... It's just a show, I should really just relax... It's just a show, I should really just relax...

Get into close combat, there you will have the advantage.

I was recently in a tournament with a similar format that you were describing and both necrons and marines have the ability to drop pie plates on you (especially if they know what armies to expect) so I suggest you take out their guns first and like everyone else has said get into cc asap.
