Hello all,

Say I have a rhino 1 inch away from my own rhino. They are next to each other with their long ends closest to each other. Can one pivot (and not count as moving)without the other one moving?

Same question but replace one rhino with an enemy squad who is in base/base with the long side of a rhino...can it pivot without moving? How about tank shocking that unit (keeping in mind that it will have to pivot to drive forward to hit them.

Hope that makes sense. I searched for this for a bit but didnt find anything on this.

Thanks,

BRB pg 11 "A model cannot move so that it touches an enemy
model during the Movement and Shooting phases –
this is only possible in an assault during the Assault
phase. To keep this distinction clear, a model may not
move within 1" of an enemy model unless assaulting."

So no you cannot pivot if it means you pass within one inch.

But pivoting on the spot isnt considered movement.....I agree with you, but playing devils advocate.

If the vehicle had been assaulted and survived with enemy models in BtB, in the following turn you may pivot.
You are even allowed to move the opponents models with the pivot.
See BRB pg. 63 Succesive Turns second paragraph.

Who are all these people, and why aren't they dead?
