I read in a previous post that signature spells could be cast by multiple casters, even on the same targets... what I would like to know is if this applies to Steaky Stabbin', the gobbo signature spell.

I am curious if I could give a target unit multiple AP buffs to deal with chaos mortals. Any light on this would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

My understanding is you can cast it on the same unit multiple times. The problem being, you get no benefit from this, and since you're probably using Night Goblin Wizards you're only going to get it off about 56% of the time, and almost 10% of all attempts will fail and put a wound on the caster. Not only do you get only a 50% chance of casting, you also have only a 33% chance with a success of making up the lost die / stealing a Dispel.

As such, you're better casting on another unit. At least that will encourage someone to use one-or-more Dispel Dice to thwart the casting, and if they fail a Unit gained temporary Armor Piercing / you might steal their Dispel Die. Casting on the same unit only has one gain, and that requires getting a 3+ on the Power Die, not rolling a 1 on the Mushroom Die, and rolling a 5+ for the Lore Attribute.
