Hey Dakkanaughts
I was hoping for some tourn level advice. I am running a Flesh Tearers DoA army. What I am including is:
Lib in Power Armour - 125 points
Jump Pack
Shield and Unleash
1 x Sang Priest - 100 points
Jump Pack
Hand Flamer and Power Weapon
2 x Assault Squads (10) - 235 points ea
2 x Melta
1 x Powerfist
Total: 695 points
This leaves me with 305 points... what compliments this list. I'll be playing your standard five games over two days against a mix of opponents.
Hit me with some ideas, and if you can give some analysis as to why - that'd be ideal.

Put in another 10 man assault squad with flamer/flamer and power weapon for taking out infantry. Also drop the extras on the priest you want to keep him out of harms way and then with the points put in another priest with jump pack. Giving you larger bubble coverage

You can not take a fully balanced and capable side at this cost.
One of Honour guard with plasmas or melta/flamer, Vanguard, more assault marines with flamers would be needed against some armies.
I think I would take vanguard just as I think necrons would love that.

I've been using a similar list with great results:-
Librarian + jump pack (125pts)
Sanguinary Priest + jump pack (75pts)
Honour Guard + jump packs + 4 meltaguns + 4 flamers (225pts)
10 Assault Marines + power fist + 2 meltaguns (235pts)
10 Assault Marines + power fist + 2meltaguns (235pts)
5 Assault Marines + flamer (105pts)
TOTAL = 1000pts
*Libbie is the best value HQ in the book IMO. Honour Guard can tackle either horde, AV or MEQ and provide a FNP bubble because of the initiate. The 2 large Assault squads are for a bit of "in yer face" fun with the small squads to mop up or sit and camp on a home objective.

I would go with:
Librarian, Jump Pack - 125
Honor Guard, Jump Packs, x4 Plasma Guns - 225
Assault Squad, x2 Meltaguns, Power Fist - 235
Assault Squad, x2 Meltaguns, Power Fist - 235
Land Speeder, TML, HB - 90
Land Speeder, TML, HB - 90
Everything is mobile with high strength shots. The Land Speeders attack transports, and then you have 25 marines to attack infantry. The Sanuinary Noviate in the Honor Guard should be able to give everyone FnP and FC.
