So, here is my first go at getting an army critiqued, but I am looking forward to getting some advice and see how my building stands up.

HQ- WGBL w/ PP and PW= 100

Trp1- Grey Hunters (5)
1w/ Wolf St., 1w mark of wulfin, 1w/ meltagun, 1w/ PP, and 1w/ PF
In Razorback= 185
(BL will be attached to this squad)

Trp 2- Grey Hunters (5)
1w/ PP, 1w/ Plasmagun= 100

Trp 3- Grey Hunters (5)
1w/ Wolf St., 1w/ Plasmagun= 100

Elite 1- Lone Wolf
w/ Term. ar., SS and Frost axe= 80

Elite 2- Wolf Scouts (5)
1w/ Meltagun, 1w/ PP= 100

FA 1- Skyclaw Ass. Pack (5)
1w/ mark of wulfin, 1w/ PP= 120

HS 1- Long Fangs (4)
1w/ HB, 1w/ LC, 1w/ ML= 100

HS 2- Vindicator= 115

So the idea is obv. LF sit back and try and target any walkers or tanks that are threats to my troops. The WGBL will rush forward in the razorback with the vindicator, trying to keep the foe on their side of the board. The Lone wolf is hopefully threatening enough to draw some fire and be hard to put down. The Skyclaws are strictly there to target weaker trp choices like smallish guard squads, gretchin, etc. I'll keep one of the GH back tyo sit on objectives if that is required, also to babysit the LF.

Appreciate any and all feedback, thanks.

Plasma Pistols in general are too expensive for what they do. For any unit in the Space Wolf Codex.

Also, taking a Power Weapon when a Frost Weapon is available isn't ideal. If you were going for a cheap HQ, just take a naked Rune Priest. They are far more valuable to your army than a 100 point WGBL would be.

Power Fists on Grey Hunters are a waste of points. For 3 points more than the price of that model, which is only giving you 1 Power Fist attack after the first round of combat, you can instead take a Wolf Guard pack leader with Power Fist and a Combi weapon. The extra attack and extra leadership is well worth the 3 points! A better option would be to take a Power Weapon. Its not too expensive, still gives you (hah) Power Weapon attacks, and you get more of them.

If you are aggressive, you can keep a small Grey Hunter unit on foot alive just by giving other targets to the enemy. With as few troop choices as you have you need to beef them up.

If you aren't in a transport vehicle, you need to be taking full sized squads. Aside from the free special weapon, you need to be able to take 5 turns of shooting/assault and have a good chance to still be standing.

For the Lone Wolf, spend the 5 points to get him a Thunder Hammer or Chain Fist. He has Eternal Warrior and will be going against things that usually have a higher Initiative than 4 anyways. May as well get the most out of it by giving him some S8 attacks with nasty side affects. I prefer the Hammer myself, but the Chainfist is excellent if you deal with more Walkers than Monstrous Creatures.

Skyclaws aren't a worthless choice, but they have the weaknesses Blood Claws do plus one of the weaknesses Infantry has. This means:
A) Take a full squad of them or leave them home, they will be getting shot at before they get to assault and need the bodies to take the hit
B) They need to be lead by someone, either a Wolf Guard Pack Leader or an Independent Character. If you don't, their Headstrong rule means they could end up chasing a Land Raider all game instead of doing anything useful.
C) They will suffer heavy casualties against other Space Marines in close combat. Their WS3 means anything WS4+ is hitting them on a 3+. More hits means more wounds which means more casualties.
D) Taking a special weapon other than a Flamer on them should be left to point filler; BS3 means you hit 50% of the time. Points are better spent on your reliable troops.

For the Long Fangs, you'll want to invest in some more anti-tank. I run 2 units, one with all ML and one with two LC and 3 HB. Being able to hit 3 vehicles at range minimum is important. A Rune Priest with LL could do this as well for lighter vehicles, but I'd consider in investing in more Long Fangs. One pack is great at 750-1000 points. At 1500-1750 I generally want 2 and at 2000 I usually wish I had 3.

The Vindicator by itself is near worthless. You have only two vehicles so all the anti-tank weapons have only two targets, and the Vindicator is more scary. Its side armor isn't amazing so it'll be popped fairly easily. Most lists that do bring Vindicators do it in pairs for this reason, but you are better off with more Long Fangs in all honesty. For the same price you can have 5 with 4 ML. Anti-infantry is covered by your Grey Hunters.

And smart move with wanting to guard the Long Fangs by the way! If you don't, enemy outflankers, deep strikers, and fast movers will eat them up.
