Has any IG people used a Demolisher? If so, what front and side weapons worked the best with it. I am thinking of running a Demolisher in my new list.

Demolisher is very popular and the only variant of the LR out there besides the standard LRBT that's actually commonly used imo.

I want to know is from people that run them, what other weapon configuration on it do they run. I am already going to have the lascannon on the front. I am tossing up between the multimeltas or the plasma cannons on the sponsons.

I run one with just the lascannon. Occasionally if I have points to spare I'll run multimeltas but I generally prefer just the lascannon.

The lascannon on the front isn't that usual. You don't need a long range anti tank gun on a tank meant to wreck things up close. Heavy flamer is good for the hull weapon if you want to get in close. I often run mine with bolter sponsons and hull gun, but it's all pretty secondary compared to the main gun.

Run it bare bones. Side sponsons are meh for their price. I run 1 demolisher with 2 manticores. The demolisher is really only for terminators. The manticores i use for mass infantry and killing vehicles. They arent bad against terminators even though they're only ap4 theyre str10 gk paladins crumble. Your demolisher will cover mid field with your boys and the manticores will annoy your opponet.
