After getting bored with my Space marines a few years back they got shelved. Lately I started painting again and decided that they needed a revamp.

Had a good look at the chapter colour schemes and I settled on the Angels Sanguine, plus the Blood Angels seem like a fun chapter to play.

Here is the first mini I repainted as a test:

Looks pretty good to me.

If you are open to comments I feel the the model is slightly let down by the tabbard, You have this brilliant red side and a nice black side then the middle just looks a little off. At this point I'm not sure how you could fix it perhaps lightening the color a little?

Food for thought, still a very nice looking model!

Thanks for the feedback.
I went for brown shadows on the tabard and worked up to bone for the highlights. It was previously grey/white and stood out too much. Anyways I like the way it looks
