I was speaking to a GW redshirt the other day about this "leaked rulebook". He told me that, although he cannot say it is genuine, someone in development has been fired over it. Your thoughts?

Ward or not, a GW employee told me SOMEONE had got the sac.
One thing is for sure though, GW is all stirred up about this. He also told me there were going to be a few changes in the company because of it... Not sure what he meant though.

Don't certain companies purposefully put typos in different versions, in order to track down any leaks? If it's a standard practice I wouldn't be surprised if this were the case for GW.

For God's sake, the Ward hate is getting pretty stupid.
And I doubt al rules designer would get fired over the actual leak. Someone in charge of playtesters maybe.
Unless GW had someone write 6th edition to look completely different than what we have (something like 5th Edition Lite), saw the overwhelmingly positive reaction to a version they possibly rejected and decided to vent their anger on some poor sod. There, outrageously baseless speculation done.
