Sorry if the organization to this is confusing. This list is just what I have come up with to the best of my abilities using what I have. I am about to get a couple Razorbacks and more Long Fangs soon. Also, Njal is in there to get the points up a bit, and I have him. Hopefully I have a decent enough amount of anti tank for the time being until I can get more Long Fangs. Would you guys recommend I add another Long Fang Pack before I start getting into transports? Footslogging is causing me much grief, so I dont think I will unless I am advised too.

Drop the power sword on the Long Fangs pack leader--if they're in melee, something has gone horribly wrong. Considering how many Wolf Guard you have, I suggest switching Njall out for Logan Grimnar. This way, they're scoring! Drop the Dreadnought. Between the powerfists and the Long Fangs, you've got plenty of anti-tank.

Hey,
just some thoughts, I assume your plan is to walk everyone forward with njal and use him to provide moving coversaves?
Going with that I'd stick Njal on the biggest most tough unit you have, if it was me you were facing I'd blast that unit into dust with everything I had to try to put him down cos he is the hub of your tactics.
You can make more out of your HQ slots if you take 15 points from somewhere, maybe the power sword on the LF, take two rune priests, give 1 Master of the runes, storm caller and living lightening and the other storm caller/living lightening and jotww. This allows you to have your entire army in cover or more shots per turn of lightening and world wolf.
The battle leader could do with an invulnerable save, he does have I5 but he won't wipe out a squad on his own and will take all the remaining hits. Warrior born is ok, it works best with a leader with a wolf claw or pair, since you hit on a 3, it maybe it is best to switch to the wolf claw since you can get a re-roll on your to hit or wound rolls. Personally I'd drop the saga, take a wolf claw and storm sheild and saga of the beastslayer. You get the re-rolls that you need to hit or wound average models with T4 and have the saga to give you the re-rolls for T5 and can re-roll your to wound with the claw.
Arjac... he's good he generally works for me but he is a bit pricey, his squad could do with a heavy weapon, you don't have much anti tank guns at 1550 and there are a lot of cavalry lists out there, from BA SW and DA lists. It might be an idea to drop arjak, tool out the wolf guard for a more even spread of abilities, some chainfists, storm sheilds and an assault cannon. In fact looking at the elite choices, you should probably drop the 1st squad and take 2-3 more in the second with a minimalist load out to focus on bulking out your troops choice.
The second WG squad is fine, it has a spread of abilities and can do it's job, maybe a storm sheild or two in there since these boys would be a major fire magnet but that's up to you.
Loose the dread, for what he costs you can stick in two land speeders with a multimelta each and have an extra GH model for y.our troops.
Your troops look a little anemic, they are small and few the meta game is for about 3 large troops at 1500 because you need to hold objectives in 1/2 of the missions and that means troops that can survive, 5-6 man squads even with a terminator will not have the surviveablity of larger squads and forcing an enemy to have to take out multiple troops choices is the way to ensure that some will survive.
Looking at your long fangs I see 1 problem, you have given wargear to the squad leader, he is only there to sit and allow you to split fire, he is the first man dead and if you have to ever use that power sword you are doing it wrong.
Hope that provides some help to you, if you don't have the models to change the army in any way then let me know and I'll think about what way to make the most use of what you have.

Wow, I really appreciate all of this info, thank you very much. I will follow it to the best of my abilities.
Well, now that you mention that gameplan with Njal, it probably is, haha. I really only put him in there to give me points and because I own the model. I would love to have Logan in stead.
I thought Arjac was pretty good because I needed my points cost up, and he seems like a heavy hitter, but if you think he isnt worth it then I suppose I should reconsider.
Yeah the sword on the Long Fang squad leader was sort of, how do I keep getting my points up, ok lets give him this.
Yeah, currently all the models I own are in this list. I would love to have some transports or fast attack like you recommended. I would also love more troops, but I have to get another SW pack. I would love to see how you optimize a list for what I have, that would be amazing.

Using one of your frost axe wolf guard, i assume you used the frost axe to make at least 1 model, have him be logan grimnar.
He just needs an axe and a storm bolter, everything else is either on the model or can be added easily. That switches your army to 4 troops straight off, a much better setup.
I would be tempted to stick grimnar on a gh squad to get the benefit of the wolf standard in cc, but if you move all the wolf claws to one squad and
use the high king rule to give them all preffered enemy the turn you charge with grimnar, that would also work very very well.
Drop njal, make him a normal rune priest, rune priest A, you get to do most of the same things anyway and can coversave while moving and shooting, having rune priest B gives you more area to keep in cover, if the army is all in cover anyway then he can shoot but he is there to support your troops.
A second tactic may be to leave the 2nd rune priest sitting back with the long fangs and have him use living lightening to clear out light armour and heavy hitters with the long fangs.
I dropped the wolf guard battle leader as you have enough cc power with your army as is and he can be another rune priest without too much work.
You'll need to watch out for large templates and make sure not to bunch up the squads but otherwise the list can work.
Other then what's there I'd say get very good at running your units, there will be a lot of times when you will be outside 2 foot which is not great for the army so you will need to close the distance, the worst thing would be if laz/plaz razorbacks park at 48.1" away from your long fangs and start blasting away.

Thanks heaps man, I really do appreciate it.
I just ordered a Razorback by the way, so I think I will take the gun off and use it as a Rhino for one of the GH squads. I guess my next purchase will be a Rune Priest or two, and another Wolf Pack to get my troops up. Thanks again!

I just realized Logan makes WG into Troops, so yeah, I think I will be getting as close to that list as possible. Thanks a bunch.
