Sorry to be a nuisance but I am new to fantasy! I am looking for the points cost for the coven throne and can't seem to find it!

Would the points cost be the same as the mortis engine? Also I am wondering why it is in the heros section of the codex?

The Coven Throne may ONLY be taken as a mount for a Vampire / Vampire Lord.
That's why it's listed amongst the other mounts in the heroes section.
Look under the mount options for a Vampire / Vampire Lord. You'll find the points there.
