I have a buddy who wants to paint decently detailed world war 2 miniatures, but we are having trouble finding a consistent line of figures. Does anyone have any information about any ww2 miniatures that isnt flames of war, with a decent amount of models to chose from?
Thank you for your responses.

Scale? 28mm Warlord are good. The Plastic Soldier Company are making some very interesting and cheap kits in 15mm and 28mm. There are huge numbers of 20mm manufacturers out there, this is often considered the scale for historical wargaming.

Warlord has some nice plastic world war 2 minis that should work, they are about the same size a warhammer if that helps.

You should have no problem ordering from PSC even from canada. Also check out local hobby stores as my local store has PSC. You can check out the usual suspects like Elhiem http://www.elhiemfigures.com/, Sgt Major minatures http://www.sgmm.biz/, S&S models http://sandsmodels.com/page2.html
Ambush Alley Games has a nice list of 15mm,20mm and 28mm venders who sell moderens and WWII era figgies http://ambushalleygames.com/resources/miniatures take a peek around you never know what you will find. =o]

If you don't mind us asking what ones did he choose in the end? It's always nice to meet another person who is into historical's even if they are 'Those 15mm weirdo's" [/joking]
What system are you guys planning on getting into? What era? Who's playing what army?
