Bought, built, and painted my first IG valkyrie in one day I guess I was kinda excited lol. In all seriousness though, here it is. I included my Manticore and a basic squad as requested in my last thread.







I think I may be done, but feel free to give me some tips/ideas

Yeah, I was actually just going through and saw your post I must agree, the Valkyrie does look better with the stripes removed. Ill be basing this some time tomorrow I imagine.

Very nice, the Valkyrie looks cool and the black and red colors give it quite a renegade look without going overboard (I find that sometimes people overdo the whole renegade thing but I guess that's just a matter of taste).

But why did you color the cockpit windows black?

Oh and while we're at it, if you want you could try to improve the lenses (the one next to the ML and the one on the nose) by adding some lighter tones of blue and a dot of white to make them look less plain or do them in a shade of light green... well that's just details and personal preference I guess but just putting that out there...

Ith looks really good, but I don't think renegades would be caught dead with an aquila on their vehicles. Personally I'd take the aquila off and add a symbol that your renegades have adopted, but that's just me. In any case, keep up the good work.

I did the cockpit black because I personally dont like to paint my pilots. Im not sure why, I just dont like to, its kinda strange Also, I have never been very good with lenses so il give that a try.

I left the aquila on because its kinda like they are freshly converted, and if I need to, can play them as just regular IG

Unless they're fresh over to the traitor side, they could probably use a healthy dose of spikes.

the black and red valkyrie kind of reminds me of a plane from the cobra army in GI Joe hahaha...... can't remember what it's called now, but i think it can split in 2 with the front half turning into some sort of submarine while the tail transforms into a glider of some sort.

Agrred on spikes bit. can never have enough spikes.

I say freshly converted, but for simplicity I might just say its a regular Cadian army with a dark color scheme

I think this will do for traitor guard...just.

Maybe add some sort of Chaos bits to it...a badly painted chaos symbol here...some blood and gore there...
