Basically I wanted to know if when broken into combat squads do both squads get to use Psychic abilities in a turn.

Like if I have one squad of 10 purifiers split into two combat squads. Can they both use Purifying flame on the same turn, just one of them using a basic guy as the leader and the other using the Knight of the flame.

Thanks for any feedback, I searched for this and found only other topics of why to combat squad and nothing stating whether they both get to use abilities or just the combat squad with the knight of the flame/justicar.

And also, if this is in one of the books, can you point me to the page #?

They are treated as separate units in all respects - page 21 Codex: Grey Knights under Combat Squads.
Separate units can use separate abilities.

That is what I was thinking too.

I played a guy at the last 'Ard Boyz who thought he could only use them in his squads with the knight of the flame for some reason. If he had known this he would have tabled me at least one whole turn earlier than he did...
