WotC is releasing hardback versions of the 1st Edition Players Guide, DM Guide, and Monster Manual. Some of the proceeds go to the Gary Gygax Memorial fund. May have to pick these up on general principle.

The irony of this being that the 1E AD&D PHB, DMG and MM were so well made that it is relatively easy to pick up one of the original print runs of these books for not a lot of money on eBay and such.

Still, I will certainly be buying these to support the EGG Memorial, and to help convince WoTC to release more legacy stuff, even if it is 'only' to get them to sell PDFs again.

With the stated goal of having 5E D&D enable people to play ANY version of (A)D&D at the same time... who knows?
