I found these on Ebay

I was planning on purchasing them to convert some AOBR Boyz to Kommandos. Has anyone had any experience with these? If so, what are your opinions on them as far as quality and if they would be a good fit for what I plan on using them for?

I am not familiar with the backpacks, but I do have some of the mechanical legs. They are very nice quality.

IMO those packs would work perfectly. It is more than likely what they were produced to do.

Assuming you're doing more than just putting the backpacks on they look set to fit the miniatures quite well. First time I've actually noticed Kromlech and now I'm drooling over other conversion opportunities.

Soon his foes would learn that the only thing more dangerous than a savage three hundred pound brute is a savage three hundred pound brute with a plan - Ork Codex

Arthur Kromlech is a very skilled sculptor and his resin quality is very good. I think they lack the same detail as the likes of Micro Art studios, but make up for it with their resin quality. I hate assembling micro art stuff no matter how beautiful.

This unit sounds pretty epic. I have been thinking of doing the same with ordinary boys. To improve them a lot why not try using some gas masks from Puppet Wars or Kromlech? They would probably work quite well. Also, even better: check out Teeks guide to modelling the AOBR ork poses, it's brilliant.
