So I got hold of some AoBR sms and since I love the background of the Dark Angels I was thinking about doing a dark angel army but with the pre heresy color scheme.

I jsut want to make sure I get their color scheme right.

The Pre heresy DAs had black power armor (even termies?). So were their vehicles right?

But if you're a fluff stickler; it might be strange to a purist to have the pre-heresy colour scheme on post-heresy armour types (which the AoBR marines wear).

im not really a fluff stickler, just like the paint scheme...

I was specially wondering about the terminator since the deathwing have a ivory paint now while the normal troops have forest green (da green for gw paints) and the ravenwing have a black paint colorscheme in the 40k era.

And yeah I'm thiking about how to make them look as "old" as possible, its a side project to my ork army.

Before and during the heresy, the deathwing was not in existence. It was formed as well as the ravenwing to hunt the Fallen. I really need to take pictures but my DA army is the base pre-heresy colors with my own twist. I did not go out and buy all the forgeworld pre-heresy stuff, just did the scheme.

Nice, I won't buy the fw things, just use gs to make capes and stuff to make the sms look my knight like.

And even that paint scheme isnt strict pre-heresy either.

Would possibly qualify as post-heresy pre-second founding though.
