Hey Dakka,

Having a bit of trouble with my Elysians atm, after acquiring more i've decided im not that happy with the colour of the fatigues.

Any one got any ideas for an alterntive colour? Want to keep it desert camo themed.

Thanks in advance,

Looks pretty good to me! Though if you want some changes you could try adding an urban camo to the fatigues, keeping the (what looks on the pictures like) black/ dark Grey, but adding patterns of light gray, dark gray and white to it. That way you keep the desert look through the armor pieces but have a more Special Forces like feel to them.
If you want to completely revamp the design you could also try to color the armor black / dark gray and do the fatigues in a desert camo (the color you have on the armor now with a pattern of different browns and white). OR you could do a sort of Black Hawk Down camo style of having the armor in a sort of light woodland camo and the fatigues in desert camo, there are some good pictures on google if you want.
Hope that helps

I'm currently making a desert camo Elysian army too, and I'm using GW Desert Yellow for the fatigues and Astronomicon Grey for the armour-y bits (the pads, helmet and chest flak jacket). It looks nice and I enjoy painting it. I'll usually do a Magic Devlan Mud wash over the whole model (except the face) to darken everything and provide some shading. Seriously, Devlan Mud is the best.

I only have 3 of my squad of 10 done so far, but here's a pic of the 3 guys I have done.

After the suggestion of MajorTom11 and Kanluwen i repainted two minis.

Which do you prefer Dakka? Brown or grey?
