This is a Blood Angels list, I plan on using my Red Corsairs CSM 'counts as' (or proxying not sure what the right term is). My Red Corsairs 1750 list has been messed up (in my view) by warptime FAQ, Huron has become even less worth it, and the half the reason to play Red Corsairs for me was to use Huron. I'm going to a small tournament, I don't expect to win, or even come close, but I would like to have a chance of winning a game or two, and have a bit of fun while doing so.

I'm hoping the fire base of the 3 Razorbacks (I can only have two Las/Plas max, as one of my Razorbacks already has a TL LC, the other two aren't finished yet, so I can convert them into Las/Plas slightly easier) and the two Predators will be decent enough in some circumstances to sit back and pop a few transports, and let the Death Company and dread do some damage. (The Death Company by the way, will be represented by Bezerkers). The Stormraven (not decided on its weapons yet, but will have to use the free ones obviously) will hopefully be fun and deliver the Death Company goodness. I thought about taking out the attack bikes and replacing with a Chaplain to join the Death Company, to make them slightly better in combat and add an extra power weapon....

Not a bad start here mate. A few problems, though these can be easily fixed and you will then have a rocking list.

Firstly, your Razorbacks. These should be las/plas in Angel armies. You have fast tanks so you can move 6" and fire both weapons and you pay 35 points for a turret and get two guns.

Death Company and the Dreadnought are a problem. You have them in a single Stormraven which is basically all your eggs in one basket. You have 525 points into that one big unit, that's 1/3 of your points! Stop that Stormraven from moving in either shape or form (so three results on the damage table will stop it) and that's three birds down with one stone. Add in that all Death Co units rage and can be tricked into chasing worthless units. I would drop these and add another Razorback with Assault Marines and add a few flamers and power weapons onto a few squads. Add some Priests too, these will help your small squads survive.

With the spare points get as many Predators as you can.

You will then have a cool and very tough army list then.

Hopethat helps.

I haven't brought the Stormraven+DC+DC Dreadnought in anything under 1850, but they sure are deadly. I always use a Reclusiarch with the DC (and have Power Weapons over Power Fists), but my army composition is way different than yours. The DC Dreadnought with Blood Talons is a terrific answer to Scarabs because with the Stormraven you now have the longer assault range threat, you instagib them in droves, and you'll always strike before them even if they assault you. I would never take Blood Fists over Talons. The rest of your army's lascannons and meltas need to be used for what those fists would otherwise take care of.

I would swap the ABs for a Chaplain and consider dropping the PF DC to add 3 Power Weapons to the unit. I would use that unit to delete enemy troops off the board with the DC Dread giving you a solid "bodyguard" of sorts.

I like your list. Definitely a solid base to have fun with. Play that list with confidence and tweak it here and there as you go.
