Drybrush tin bitz, then drybrush chaos black closer to the edges?

Sounds to me like it could work.

Drybrush with black, then bronze, then a very light touch of gun metal.

I've used vermin brown and then black, rather than a metallic undertone.

I tihnk vermin brown is probably the way forward. Any metallic colours will look metal and I don't want that look.
