Hey, this is on of my first topics,and kinda new to dakkadakka.
but i have been playing agains one of my friends that is playing GK's..
The GK list is somthing like this:

3x 10man purifier, 4psycannons in each, 2 hammers and halberds, all in rhinos
Dreadknight with sword, flamer and teleporter.
psyflemen... and then that HQ that makes the purifiers To troops...

And my list is:
Vulkan
3xtacticals-multimelta,melta,combimelta,all in 3 rhinos
5x assault termies, TH and SS,in a Landraider Redeemer (multimelta,heavyflamers)
then i have been switching between a Ironclad Dreadnought(meltagun,flamer) in a drop pod... or then a Landspeeder(multimelta,heavyflamer)
.... And i just cant win the GK's.... all my rhinos just go Boom... and the all my tacticals go boom.... and then my landraider.. and my Termies.. And so on....

What should i do agains a Purifier spam??
I can also play with orks.. if there is a chance that i can beat him with orks...

I don't play GK, and have only fought them on 2 occasions, so sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Assuming your are playing 1500 point games, GK's are pretty efficient in the short/middle game each marine has a storm bolter and a power weapon so out to 24" you are going to be met with a wall of bullets. Looking at his list he only has one set of weapons that will shoot out past the 24" range this being his Dreadnaught.

Looking at your list, your army is more a short game army, melta's and flamers require you to be up close and personal well within the wall of 24" that the majority of his army can shoot out to.

Have you considered trying to stick him at long range to wear him down as much as you can before he gets to you? If you can pop his Dreadnaught first he has to get much closer to you.
