Relentless has no impact on your initiative in close combat. A power fist makes you strike at I1.

All relentless does is affect how you can shoot and whether or not you can assault.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

Well it does a little more than that.
it also allows you to shoot heavy or rapid fire weapons as if stationary.

I am a little curious as to why the OP would think that Relentless has any impact on a models Initiative in close combat. I mean, we have to assume that the OP has actually read both the Power Fist rules, the Terminator Armour rules and the Relentless rules. This could, depending on the OPs motivation, be a perfect situation to teach something about how to read rules in general and the general/specific rules in particular.

Only the models with a PFist would strike at I1. Anything else in the unit would strike at their regular Initiative.
