Hello, Dakkaites!

I recently started an IG army, but the darkness within couldn't live with being an Emporer-Hugger, so I've been busy ripping them apart and evil-ing them up! Instead of going down the chaos route, I'm putting a "Rise up against the oppressors!" kinda spin on my Renegades, and hopefully they'll look pretty cool

At the moment, my FW renegade kits are on their way in the post, so all I have for you today is a Leman Russ Battle tank:










Sorry for the amatuer photography, but hopefully you can get a pretty good view from those My painting isn't great, but I'm slowly improving . As you can see, I've gone quite heavy on the writing front, but I think it works with the rebellion Idea. I was going to give it a wash, but I can't find my washes anywhere! Maybe I'll upload some better pics of the washed version when I can.

I personally don't really like the writing that much, i'm not that clued up on fluff, but would traitor Guard really bother writing all that on their tank? They might put some spikes, a couple of icons and some dead bodies on, maybe some writing, but that just seems to be too much...
I quite like your base colour though, could be improved with a wash or two, and maybe some highlighting, doesn't look like you've done much other than the base colours. Good start though, maybe just limit the writing a little

I can see what you mean, rodgers, I was questioning if it was too much...perhaps I'll cover some of the writing when I find my washes, and add some spikes as and when I get hold of them. I think maybe all the handprints are a little OTT, thats what makes it seem overly busy.
