Ok so I have no specific source and no confirmed anything so take all this with what it is just a little rumor and speculation/questioning. I was reading through the forums on beasts of war and stumbled on a thread stating that some lizardmen models were in the works, some big lizardmen models. I am not sure if that means if it means that they are going to be arachnorock big but would be nice seems kind of strange that lizardmen don't have a huge monster yet.

Yeah, Lizardmen don't have a huge monster yet aside from the Stegadon, which is only moderately huge and debatably a monster at all!

Link to the original thread?

I think BlackRaven means that Lizardmen don't have a ridiculous, over the top plastic kit that can be used to make one of two different types of monster, neither of which is ultimately very satisfying because of the design compromises necessary to facillitate the split kit option.

There's also the Carnosaur, which is also in the same position.

For thirteen years I had a dog with fur the darkest black. For thirteen years he was my friend, oh how I want him back.

Vampire Counts, Ogre Kingdoms and Tomb Kings don't have those either...
Oh wait, unless you were referring to the TerrorDragon, ThunderHorn or NecroWarsphinx?
Honestly, the only model where I can see where you're coming from is the CyGhorgon.

Well, There isn't much difference in the Stegadon and the Ancient Stegadon as things stand now, other than the howda equipment that can go on top. I'd say a MASSIVE ancient stegadon is a good idea. That, or a larger Carnosaur-Kroq Gar's is nice, but a new, generic one that is bigger and far more menacing would get me into Lizardmen instantly. I'd pretty much put my credit card on an open tab to GW if they made a truly astonishing (in a positive way) Carnosaur model. It's my favorite lizard model yet, and would be the center of my army if they made it bigger/better. Again, the old one is still great-but a new, plastic one would be amazing-especially as a second wave of Storms of Magic? Please?

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Ok so here is the post it refers to something called monsterouse arcana not really sure what that is but just the idea of new lizardmen models excites me not much on it only like three posts like I said nothing concrete Iam looking for info more than anything I think.

http://www.beastsofwar.com/groups/lizardmen/forum/topic/new-lm-monsters-in-monstrous-arcana/

honestly on what everyone is hitting on not sure I would want a model remake I think the Carnasaur is actually true to the size it should be, the Stegadon could do with a size incrrease in my opinion. Honestly in the fluff they refer to many times to a gigantic lizard that romes the jungles of Lustria called the thunder Lizard that shakes the very earth when it walks I think that would be appropriat model for our arachnorock sized model, I think it would be awsome, and honestly if any army should get a gigantic model it should be the army that has dinosaurs.

Hmm isnt that the upcoming Forge World book?

Think "Imperial Armor" but for warhammer. Semi official goods for armies, and plenty of resin models

Really so this is the only thing we have to look forewark for my beloved lizardmen. Don't get me wrong forge world puts out some great stuff but my repteliam friends really are in need of some loveing, and I am not even going to discuss our problems with points values and rules with the eith edition rule set, I would just like to see a truly monstrous creature model for us heck every other army has one why not us?
