Hello everyone, PSC just announced their release of reinforcement sprues for T-34, PzIV, PzIII, SDKFZ251C and D. Does anyone know if they're are the exact same sprue as the box set. Im disappointed that it didnt come with variants, like stumme and anti-tank guns.

At £4.99 I would be tempted to buy the 5 for £15 and sell the others within my Gaming Group for like £3 or even give them away (there is always a someone who wants an extra Panzer IV or III, Can you ever have enough tanks?). I think selling them by the sprue might be alot more fuss and overheads than is strictly necessary. Especially on a product which is good value to start with?

Is he not planning to DO variant sprues? That's what I heard. This is just so you can buy six instead of ten (or whatever number.)

@Arbeits do you mean the German Infantry Heavy Weapons Sprue's (Mortars, HMG's etc)? If so then yes he is looking to release them in March.

No. The sprue with German half-track variants on it, which will by all accounts come with the various gun mounts.

Wow, missed that one. I hope that's in the pipeline soon some Pioneer 251's would be useful.

I tend to agree, £5 for 1 tank doesn't seem worth it, might as well buy the box and ebay the one's you don't want.

Yeah i've read about the half-track gun varients too somewhere. The StuGs i had off PSC re brilliant but i fear the hlaf-tracks would be too fiddly for me.

The 251's were easier to build for me, as the Track units were cast in one piece. Instead of the back, wheels and upper and lower track sections on the tanks which makes them actually more fiddly. Still with a few games I'm sure I will accidentally break a few of the Half-track guns.

I am hoping Will Townsend will start doing TD's/ Motorised Artillery/ Armour artillery. It would be nice if he did Sextons, Wespes, Hummels, Priests, Marder II's and III, SU-28's, Wolverines etc in plastic.

Pretty much everything that you think he should be doing, he's going to be doing at some juncture.

This is useful for the person who has 20 T-34s and just needs that 1 more for a command tank.

I will say this. After a lengthy discussion with the man himself at Vapnartak, the only stumbilng block he pointed out is trying to keep the "fiddly" quotient down. Some things can get awfully awkward to make in a reasonably simple fashion in 15mm, when you are trying to make a sprue.
