Need a fast bit of help here. Middle of trying to layer my buddies Dire avengers and the one color i need is a mix of Skull white and Ultra blue. But it dries incredibly fast on my pallet as im using it..so i am having to constantly make a new lil puddle of it. I am not looking to be told make a entire pot of it, that's not going to happen..but should i be adding something to it to keep it alive a bit longer then a literal minute?

What you're looking for is a wet palate. They've been talking about how to make one over here:

Make sure you're in an area without and wind or draft, and water your mix down. It won't keep it wet forever but it should help. You can also buy a bathroom tile for 17 cents at home depot and use it as a palate.

Get some acrylic drying retarder from a local hobby store.
Slows down the drying time on all acrylic paints.

Wet palette. You want the paint to dry once it's on the model. A retarder will stop that happening. Good for wet blends, bad for layering.
Also get hold of a hair dryer for drying layers, and thin a little more than you would normally. You'll notice the difference.
