I just ended up having to buy two more scatter dice and was wondering how fellow 40k players keep a hold of theirs. So is there any tricks that I dont know besides watch it like a hawk?

Watch it like a hawk. I dont let anyone touch mine, after losing 4. Sure its mostly accidental, since they all look the same, but still its annoying.

I have the opposite problem, mine breed like wildfire, the number of times I've rolled them in a batch of normal dice is sickening!

I drilled holes in mine, on the 'hit' side, and put little weights in there. So, I know which one is mine because it weighs more.

It demonstrates an effort made to be understood, and to make your post an easy and pleasant read. By making this effort, you can often elicit more positive responses from the community, and instantly mark yourself as someone worth talking to.

I'm not sure why people are having problems, to be honest. If I put one out on the table, I collect one afterwards. I don't think I've ever lost any yet.

make sure you have them at the end of the game or dont let the other player use your dice. I've never lost any dice and it does not seem hard to keep track of them if you just put them back in the container after you use the scatter die.

Make sure you leave the table with one. Using the AOBR one makes it easier to keep track of as well.

I utilize my pockets a lot for 40k. After every scatter die usage, it goes right back to the pocket. I've had the same scatter die for seven years now. Perhaps it's just bad luck, but since they all tend to look the same I'm sure people pick them up by accident.

You know those vending machines that give random crap in a bubble? Put the scatter and two smaller dice in there tilt it upside down shake it and place it on the table scatter never leaves and the bubble is yous and you can place it close to the target too. Solves arguements on where it points too

You are not free whose liberty is won by the rigour of other, more righteous souls. Your are merely protected. Your freedom is parasitic, you suck the honourable man dry and offer nothing in return. You who have enjoyed freedom, who have done nothing to earn it, your time has come. This time you will stand alone and fight for yourselves. Now you will pay for your freedom in the currency of honest toil and human blood.

So do I. The 6ers roll like gak, but the scatter is pretty decent, and it stands out from the other scatters I have.

No one leaves the store till my stuff is found.
Eventually after almost a hour of search, we found it misplaced in someone's bag. Accidental or not we dont know.

But ever since then, everyone is super careful about the dice, they stay in the middle of the table xD

I used a pen to put little dots in the middle of the HIT circle. I didn't have a problem losing it, I just found that this particular scatter die rolled hit for me a lot and I wanted to make sure I roll mine.
