Before I was a 40k player I was a big fan of the British Heavy Metal Band Bolt Thrower only to find out later that many of their songs (and most of their album art) is based off of our favorite hobby.
Are there any other Heavy Metal Bands influenced by the Grim Darkness from the Far Future?
I would think that the band Carnifex's name is a reference to 40k (although Wikipedia says it's based off an old latin word for executioner)
EDIT: Oh it I put this is Background instead of General Discussion...

The only one I can think of is Debauchery. Though they aren't very good. Bolt Thrower is probably the best you will find.

Bolt Thrower and D-rok were the two bands that stick in my memory as being plugged by GW.
(They don't stick in my memory for talent, though).
Carnifex probably took their name from the latin - gaming is still a VERY small niche-y hobby that much of the world does not know (or care) about.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

From what I can recall from WD around that era I believe "Batfish" and... err... "Girlschool" ( ?) were both tagged as being fans. I recall pictures of the former playing Dark Future.
And IIRC Wraith were signed to the record label for a time too.
Odd as it maybe at Warhammer World this last weekend the prize for winning the evening pub quiz were (rare) cassette copies of albums by DR-Rok and Wraith

I usually hear to these ones. It's true that there are better bands out there, but they sound cool.
