Would a character mounted upon a War Beast get a LoS roll if s/he's in a unit of War Beasts? I guess no, but you can't be too sure!

Pray tell where does it say this? Just because you are mounted does not make you Calvary

He gains his mounts unit type so yes he would get LOS

@J-C: Pretty certain that's wrong. It also doesn't make sense with other units. Consider putting a herald on jugger in with a unit of Bloodcrushers. He'd be a Monstrous Beast in with Monstrous Cav, and wouldn't get the Look Out Sir.

I'd suggest the very short entry for War Beasts on page 84 of the rulebook. Specifically under Character Mount.
