I almost got all the models I need for It. I am just missing Ulrik and the land speeders. My idea is for as many drop pods as possible but I couldn't make everything a drop pod in the 5000 points I was given so I had to make due with land speeders which I feel is awkward.

I put Ulrik in one squad, The wolf lord in another and Ragnar in the other.

Fast Attack:
3 Land Speeders with Assault Cannons and Heavy Flamers
3 Land Speeders with Assault Cannons and 2 Heavy Flamers and 1 Multi-melta
3 Land Speeders with Assault Cannons and Multi-Meltas

Heavy:
4 Long Fangs in a drop pod with 3 Las Cannon and 1 Plasma Cannon and Logan goes here and makes them relentless so they can pod and shoot first turn and even walk and move and run around and still shoot their heavy weapons. Plus there is the leader there too.

I wish I could come up with a full 5000 points of nothing but drop pods but this was the best i could think of. I dont really want terminators even though they have 2+ saves but I figure there is gonna be too much str 10 ap 2 anyway to waste money on them anyway.

So where can I make improvements?




Keeping in mind that I am keeping the Rune priests and njal out on purpose as I think there are too many eldar and Grey knight armies that make them useless these days.
So I am keeping it to where no army list can frick up my list completely just because 1 guy on their army has a special thing about them that makes mine useless for their entire army.

Any reason for playing that big of a game and not using more than one Force Org? Just seems like things are being taken to eat up points rather than to perform a job.

Also, Ragnar is a bit more effective in Grey Hunters. Rather, he helps Grey Hunters more than he helps Wolf Guard (plus the Wolf Standard combined with his Insane Bravado rule is nice).

Also also, you take Rune Priests and Njal to render the GK and Eldar pskers useless as well. 4+ to outright nullify the enemy vs having to do a dice off? That's incredibly useful!

This IS for apoc list game and no one is using any kind if titans or super heavy. Its just normal game but with apoc sized armies.

I can easily switch ragnar to grey hunters too. I just assumed putting them there.

On more than one fore org; usually people feel too restricted by a single force org chart in anything around 3k+ games, so usually use two (so 4 HQs, 12 Troops, 6 Elites and the like) or more.

OH that thing! I see. Well If I did want to use apocolypse rules I suppose I could exchange some Land speeders for more drop pod troops. Make everything a drop pod than.
