So in my ever expanding hobby A.D.D., I decided that the Achilles I built originally for my Space Wolves just did not fit their fluff that well (Yeah, I am one of those guys). So I decided to create a Space Marine force around someone who would use it. Who better than the inventors themselves, the Imperial Fist! As I have discovered the Imperial Fist are one of those secret f b chapters who don't get much spotlight. When all other chapters would withdraw the Imperial Fist would see their death before retreating. They are the true defenders of humanity and the front line defense should the enemy ever make it to Sol.

Back in the day I thought the Imperial Fist were cool, even considered breaking my no Space Marines rule and creating a force of them, but then I got excited about the new Space Wolves codex when it came out and bought them instead. Now my Space Wolves have grown as an army and I have learned to enjoy power armor more and more, I thought I could take the plunge and create a Codex: Space Marine army.

So here is my proposed list. It comprises of the 5th Company with elements of Lysander's 1st Company (because who is more fisty than Lysander?)

Here is my current progress on the Achilles. Note that I do have a Thunderfire cannon to stick on the front, but it is a rather piss poor conversion. So until I can find a proper Thunderfire or pieces to make my own (drinking straws are in my future me thinks) it will remain out of the photos so I do not embarrass myself. (Sorry for the dark photos, it was cloudy today and my desk was too much of a mess for me to be bothered to clear space)
