I had a game last night, Space Wolves vs Necrons, so of course I was subjected to a couple rounds of night fight rules. The question arose as to whether or not SW vehicles gain the benefit of the Acute Senses USR; it's not listed under their profiles, but page 24 of the SW codex says "All Space Wolves have the Acute Senses special rule." Now, does that mean all SW units have Acute Senses, or just the ones that also have it listed under their special rules?

Thanks guys. Of course, looking back through the vehicles special rules and wargear has revealed unto me that my dreads and razorbacks had searchlights all along anyways. <Facepalm>

If you have a RP popping form the Rhino hatch to fire Living Lightning he gets his actue sense roll. The storm bolter on the Rhino does not.

It seems dumb that the guy shooting from the top hatch of a moving vehicle can see better than the gunner of the vehicle.

Unless of course, that is why the guy ended up as the gunner of the vehicle instead of say, a Space Wolf with Acute Senses.
