So a good freind of mine recently started his first 40k army, the Dark angels, mostly because their green but he's also a big sucker for lions and of course likes their Primarch because of this. as a "welcome to the hobby" gift I've deceided to make him some of the DA special characters using some parts from theses boxes among others. at the moment the're still in parts and there may be some changes here and there but hopefully they should come out decent.

First up he have my rendition of Azrael
As well as 3 versions of Chapter Master Belial (for his 3 sets of equipment
and finally a Chaplain and a Librarian
Admittedly the photos aren't fantastic, but once there assembled and primed I'll use my better camera, all c&c welcome

so been a while, my room was redecorated over the weekend, not much photo op time but plenty of painting time! pretty much got everyone done except the 3 Belials!

Really like your work. What are you planning to do with the bases?

Some cool stuff - Dark Angels would be my choice if it wasn't for the emoangels (maybe just a little deathwing).

Great showcase of the potential of darkangels vets/upgrade set - Azrael is excellent in particular. My only criticisms are the use of spoilers (some people like it - I prefer to just see the pics - the more the better!) and the shoulder pad hood on the librarian (I find the grey knights bits a better fit for that, worth the investment).

thanks for the input, I'm only really using spoilers atm as they're technically WIP, once I have my old light box set up I'll take better pics, and I guess lucky would be a word for it, he's put up with me for the past 8ish years
