1 Converted Lysander to be a “Forge Father”
(I am thinking counts master of Deathwing? I am REALLY new to this. If you can give me anywhere between a 750-2000 list to start playing, your my new hero. I do have a 40k rule book, and I admit, I do not understand full details even reading cover to cover)

1 Librarian in Terminator Armour

3 x Tactical Squad, each squad containing 3 Tactical Marines, 1 Meltagun, and 1 Veteran Sergeant (sergeant is an Iron Father old school model. powerfist, and chainsword/mace)

1 x Terminator Assault Squad – 2 Thunderhammer/Storm Shield and 3 Lightning Claw Terminators.

1 x Company Veterans Squad – 3 x Power Weapons, 1 Powerfist, Twin Lightning Claws

3 x Razorbacks with Twin Linked Lascannons

1 Razorback with Twin Linked Heavy Bolters

3 x Whirlwinds

3 x Dreadnaughts – with weapon options (3 Assault Cannons, 3 Twin Linked Lascannons, 3 Powerfists, 3 Missile Launchers)

1 x Land Raider (, 250 pts?)

2 x Techmarines with servo harness

4 x Close Combat Servitors

1. im having trouble adding points (saying bad at math, I mean numbers=gibberish for me)

2. I would be grateful for even a lowest points allowed list from what I have (person I talked to had total list around 2700 points, obviously as a beginner I am not able to play this whole army with effectivness yet.)

Anyway I would really like some help, I know for a fact I am probably bothering you without using point values. I really just do not know how to figure it out.

Not good with tactics or army lists but GREAT with lore I believe. In what I consider the most accurate "fluff" you would be correct" they are very very low on terminator armor, because of the extensive use and extensive destruction of there Terminator Armour since the dropsite massacre. I simply really like them.....

I really hope so my friend, but really doubt it. I think the Ravenguard will always be the most mentioned of the three legions that stood against Chaos at Isstvan 5. Unless a novel or Index propels them, they will be the most undermentioned legions/chapters.

Ok so I tried helping myself the best I could here, and came up with a couple lists



2 ideas for Iron Hands armies/mostly not fluffed and based of vanilla space marine codex
(brand new player never played a game, please feel free to remove and/or add models and just assume I have that model)

*****LIST ONE*****

HQ
Chapter Master: Artificer Armour, Storm Bolter, Power Fist=165 points

Master of the Forge:Combi Flamer,Thunder Hammer=140 points


(3) 5 man tactical squads: each with 4 bolters and 1 sergeant with plasma pistol and power fist w/melta bombs=390 points(I think)

(3) Razorbacks (for transport) w/twin linked lascannon and extra armour=270 points (again I think HORRIBLE at math)

965 point total (so far)

(1) 5 man Terminator assault Squad 2xThunder Hammer/Storm Shield and 3x Twin Lightning Claws=200 points
+1 Land Raider as dedicated transport w/storm bolter and extra armor=275

(1) techmarine w/combi-flamer=60 poiints

1500 points (please correct me if I am wrong in point cost..PLEASE)

HQ

Chapter Master:Artificer Armour, Storm Bolter, Power Fist-165 points

Elites/rest of the army

1 x Company Veterans Squad – 3 x Power Weapons, 1 Powerfist, Twin Lightning Claws(is this acceptable and need help with points on this im thinking 215 points?)

3 x Dreadnaughts – I have all weapon options ( but am thinking 3 twin linked las-cannons and close combat weapon arm)=395 points

1x Terminator assault squad 2/thunder hammer and storm shield, three twin lightning claws=200 points

1x Razorbacks with Twin Linked Lascannons=75


1x tactical squads w/segeant+power fist and melta bombs=120
1x Razorbacks with Twin Linked Lascannons=75
1x Whirlwind w/extra armor=100

1485 points if math works

Any help would be seriously appreciated.

I can do most of your recommendation with what I own (the second list I pretty much CAN do).

I do have the Space Wolves Codex so I will take a longer look at that.

Any idea with what I posted in my first post (those are physically the models I own) what a decent 500 or 750 point army I can field for some practice matches?

(this is what I actually have sitting infront of me...see all pictures on the page) So physically working with that, and noting that none of my marines actually carry Missile Launchers any 500,750 or 1000 point list would also be helpful. Somehow I will return these favors I swear it!!!!!!!!!!


Yes shame to me I did not paint them myself, but I am painting an Eldar starter box on my own....so only partial shame.
