I don't normally make showpiece threads, but I was super happy how this guy turned out for a character ( midstandard) commission.

I saved a lot of time on him by airbrushing the armor and then using brush work for extreme highlights and shading, and put some extra detail into his book scribbles. (The caligraphy I is totally for Inquisitor and not Ifalna. Srs) Finishing him up with a simple gaming suitable base to help his colours pop.

Thanks guys! I was super happy with the freehand alright, but I think 10 years of writing treble clefs every day may have come in handy there ;D

The owner asked for it to be similar to the GW painted version, but that has some really really strange colour choices, so we dulled it down a lot to draw attention to the red and green highlight points. The book was an awesome addition, I don't think he would have been nearly as striking if he had a sword.
