Just found that Rift has a new Free trial, being able to play up to level 20. I'm going to give it a download, and play it until Kingdoms of Amalur comes out, at least.

Can you pvp? Like is it separated into tiers? If they made it to where you can experiences the full game up to lvl 20 I'd check it out, but usually that's not the case. server restrictions, item restrictions, no trading, etc. etc.

you could pvp from level 10 last i checked

the game is a ton of fun, expecially elemental invasions, basically tons of rifts open and start spewing monsters that will level your towns if you dont stop them followed up by a big zone wide boss, happens every few hours with a random element.

So far it's pretty fun. The Customization is pretty amazing. You can pretty much create your own class!





EDIT: Oh my word, I just got done with my first Rift invasion, and it was fun as can be. Monsters start attacking towns, and people have to close rifts quickly, to save the zone. It was so cool.

yeah, if you get in on the main group and get to fight the elite waves and then the boss waves it gets pretty nuts, my first invasion ended with us dropping the huge skeleton reaper thing raid boss just after he breached the gates of the main city, it was pretty epic
