I'm having a foot army being put together and i'm wondering if whether I should Paint Ulthewe or Iyanden, both schemes I love but I also want something that can be done a bit quicker but come out much nicer. Also, my hq's are eldrad and Maugen Ra and i'm running 40 guardians and 3 squads of dark reapers. Also, what paints should I use for etheir or and what type of techiniques should I look into applying to really make the infantry 'pop' i guess.

As a fan of the background of the Eldar, I believe that Eldrad is Ulthwe . . . so that looks right for you. Also the color scheme is nice (even though I play Iyanden personnally)

If you're looking for a quick painting army then thake Ulthwe. The yellow of Iyanden would take a lot of time and patience to paint. Also, if you arre taking Eldrad and a lot of Guardians then it is a very fluffy list!

I would actually spray white first then paint bone color and then black as white is pain in the ass to paint especially over black.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

I have an ulthwe army, I use a black basecoat, the bone is done with komando khaki over dheneb stone, washed with heavily watered down snakebite leather (the equivalent wash might be gryphonne sepia), and tidied up with more khaki.

Black undercoat, yes. But if I weren't using foundation paints, I'd use white. If you want some more colour in your squads, red and yellow are Ulthwe's other colours.
