Nice. I think that this could be improved slightly by using 0.60 plasticard instead of the flames of war base to reduce costs.

You could also use the Zvesda T34 obr 1941 turret instead of the plastic soldier one. If the BF article and model is correct this turret is more historically accurate and still less than £3.00 to purchase.

Overall a good tutorial though.

Yes, BUT the PSC T-34s come with 2 turrets. You can build both a tank and a bunker, without sacrificing a vehicle, something you wouldn't be able to do with a Zvezda one.

Nice tutorial! I like the idea of using washers to build up the turret rings.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.
Play the games that make you happy.

Why sacrifice anything? It's a turret. You should be able to swap it on and off the base as needed.

.....right, which is why I suggested PSC. That way you can field both the tank and the turret at the same time.

?

I thought the only FoW lists using tank turrets (Soviet and otherwise) as bunkers right now were German?

Germans would use the turrets from disabled T-34s they captured.

Yeah...

My point being that at the moment, I don't believe there are any lists that allow both turret bunkers and T-34 tanks at the same time.

I don't really see what your point of contention is. Want to swap out a turret not in use? Go right ahead.

My point was that, using spare turrets, you aren't forced to swap turrets out and can field both the tanks and turrets at the same time. Whether they are in the same force, or whether they are in two separate forces opposing each other, or even if they are being used at the same time in 2 separate games, it's irrelevant.

I don't have a copy of Grey Wolf so I've no idea whether or not you can field both the turrets and tanks in the same force at the same time. However, that doesn't mean future lists won't have this option.
